New Health Goals and New Recipes too !!

Hi Everyone,

Just got back from an awesome trip to Korea. Had visited many of the other Asian countries, however somehow missed this one. Enjoyed daily hiking in the early morning with the fresh air and mountain view inspiring me to reach my goals.  To share some of those goals were to do 8 one arm pushups, 12 HSPUs (handstand pushups), and hanging leg raises with feet coming to eye level then rocking side to side. Along with hiking mixed with sprinting up the nearby mountain trying to beat my time each new session.

However, this IS a vacation, so here is a picture of the view I would see each morning on my Fitness route up the mountain……

Feel, the more we enjoy new experiences…..Learning and Growing from them, that is what TRUE Healthy Living is about !!

Found the more I experience, no matter where in the world, people have amazing hearts, and can learn much from them. The best part, is when this is set in a beautiful setting, it can REALLY be Inspiring.

So have discovered from Dax and MAP, that life is what YOU put into it.

Well, here is one of the delicous easy to make that enjoyed while on a picnic there.

Today I thought I’d share one of those recipes with you.
This recipe will make enough for 5 or 6 people, depending on how hungry you are  😉
I freeze leftovers to use at a later time.
Fresh Tuna with Broccoli Pasta Salad

Colofully Fresh Tuna - Broccoli Pasta Salad ~

Colofully Fresh Tuna - Broccoli Pasta Salad ~

*1 cup of whole grain pasta
*1/3 bunch of broccoli, cut into small florets (about 2 cups)
*12 to 13 ounces of fresh white tuna (I prefer steamed or baked then cut into pieces)
*2 tablespoons of olive oil
*1 small onion, finely chopped
*1/2 cup water
*1/4 teaspoon salt
*1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cook pasta according to directions, drain and rinse under cold water.
Transfer to a large bowl and set aside.
Cook broccoli in lightly salted (sea salt or other natural source)
boiling water 5 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain, rinse and mix with
Cook onion in a lightly oiled pan and add tuna to warm, salt
and pepper, then combine with broccoli and pasta.
My preference is to add some tomatoes, bell peppers, and shredded carrots  for their health benefits and color !!!

Have found it is the balance of the little things we do each day that add up to the most rewards later.
Like putting a little savings in the Health bank, then over time you can collect a lot of interest …and Radiant Health !!!
